Man shot dead in the street in Anfield
A murder investigation was under way today after a man was shot in the street.
The 25-year-old victim, was found by police in Brayfield Road, Liverpool, at around 10.10pm last night.
Officers were called to the area in Anfield after a member of the public reported hearing gunshots and seeing a group of men acting suspiciously.
Merseyside Police say the victim died from a single gunshot wound to his head.
Police are also carrying out house-to-house inquiries and examining CCTV from local shops and businesses.
