Police want your pictures and videos of violence

Merseyside Police are appealing to the public for their help to catch the people responsible for the violence over the last couple of days by asking for any photos of video footage they may have.

They've introduced a new system, which members of the public can use to share photographs, or video footage of people involved in criminality of the streets of Merseyside.

Anybody who has a video or photograph of disorder can upload it at http://uploads.merseyside.police.uk

Officer hope that this system will provide further support in helping to identify those involved in the disorder which has taken place on our streets over the last two nights.

The new on-line ‘secure upload’ system enables members of the public to securely share photographs, or video footage.

This new evidence gathering process will reinforce the outstanding response Merseyside communities already give to the force when it comes to arresting those involved in criminality and putting them before the courts.

If you don' t have images or footage, but have information about criminality you can call Crimestoppers on anonymously on 0800 555 111.  Crimestoppers is a registered charity and independent to the police.  You won’t be asked your name, just what you know.
