The Royal Wedding in the North West and Wales

The biggest Royal Wedding party outside of London was held on Anglesey, the island where the couple will set up home for the next few years.

More than 2,000 people gathered at a sunny but blustery Mona Showground where the wedding was shown on two giant screens.

Many sat on Heart deckchairs alongside family and friends and surrounded by wind-breakers to protect them from the elements.

The big screen broadcast was interrupted mid-way through the service as the screens went blank, to a chorus or gasps and groans from the crowd.

Fortunately, the fault was repaired after a nail-biting minute or so, just in time for the sermon.

Heart's Natasia Moore was there
