An investigation is underway into a house fire in Helsby.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue service were called to a house on Primrose Lane in the Town shortly after 10.30am this morning. The fire involved the roof space of the property.
Primrose Lane is currently closed from the A56 to Helsby Road.
No one was in the house at the time. The owner of the house was taken to hospital by paramedics with chest pains.
The cause is unknown but fire officers are currently carrying out a full investigation.
