Crimestoppers offer reward for information

A reward of up to £3,000 is being offered by the charity Crimestoppers.

It's after a man was shot multiple times in Ilfracombe, his injuries were so bad that he required emergency surgery.

He sustained pellet injuries to his stomach, chest and hand.

The potentially life-threatening attack happened on Sunday 30th September 2018 at around 2:30pm.

The 40-year old victim was walking along the High Street we he became aware that he was being shot by someone armed with an air rifle.

It's thought the shots were fired in flats from above a cafe or pound ship.

There were no witnesses and no leads for police to follow.

Whoever did this has the potential to strike again in the future.
