We Love North Devon

We're being encouraged to say what we love about our area.

It's for a new initiative called 'We Love North Devon' which is aiming to help us celebrate where we live.

We'll be able to nominate people and places to receive an award at a special ceremony next year.

The initiative's a joint scheme between our district councils, police and other agencies like Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue.

Superintendent Kevin Harris said: "People in North Devon have a perception of what it's like up here.  It's about making sure everybody understand how brilliant it is up here and that we live in a safe, confident community."

  • Most Loved Project for the Elderly
  • Most Loved Community Worker
  • Most Loved Open Space
  • Most Loved Childhood Memory of North Devon

Nominations will open in the next few months.
