Police are looking for a man and a woman heard arguing on the night Leda Bolden went missing in Bedford.

A member of the public reported hearing the pair sometime between 9:30 and 10:30 on the corner of Rothsay Road and The Embankment.

39 year old Leda Bolden left her home on Waterloo Road at around 9:15 on the Easter Sunday

She went to buy cigarettes and then walked in the direction of Russell Park- this was the last time she was seen

Det Insp Jerry Waite says:

“We’re hoping this couple near Rothsay Road and Embankment, or someone who knows who they were, will make contact with us.

"It’s possible they could have seen or heard something without realising its significance"

Mrs Bolden is a teacher at Our Lady Catholic Primary School in Hitchin and had been due to return back to work on Tuesday after the Easter Holidays.
