Elderly Woman Dies In Fire

An elderly woman has died in a fire at her bungalow in Harrold.

Firefighters from Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue were called to the bungalow on the High Street at 10:14am on Thursday 14th February.

The caller reported seeing thick smoke coming from the window.

They went into the property with breathing apparatus to look for the elderly woman.

She was confirmed deceased at the scene.
