House Robbed While Family Slept

Thousands of pounds worth of electrical equipment and jewellery have been stolen from a house in Arlesey.

Thieves broke into the house on Stotfold Road on Saturday night while the family were asleep.

They managed to get in through a window and then searched the downstairs without waking them up.

They managed to get away with item including: 

• Three iPads
• Two iPhones
• A white gold wedding band
• A solitaire engagement ring
• A diamond eternity ring
• Various other necklaces and pendants
• Several other rings

 Detective Constable Mandy Durrant, who is investigating the burglary, said: 

”The family have been left devastated by this burglary and really do feel violated in their own home by the actions of the offenders.

 “We would really like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the burglary or anyone else who may have information – however small or insignificant they think it is – that could help us. Please don’t dismiss your information as unimportant – even tiny details which don’t seem relevant now might become useful later on in the investigation.”
