Bedford Borough Council are trialling a new way of dealing with potholes.
Workers prepare the road and the mixture so it's ready to put into the cracks.
An accelerant is added to the mixture.
The mixture is prepared so it's ready to be used on the road.
The mixture is laid into the cracks and left to settle and dry.
The mixture is left for 10 minutes to expand and fill in the cracks in the road.
Aggregate is then spread on top of the mixture so that it doesn't become slippery in the rain or in cold conditions.
