Rower and dad of four Ian Rowe from Bedford has been speaking about the moment his team's boat capsized in the Atlantic Ocean.

Ian and his five team mates were raising money for our Have A Heart Appeal by rowing across the Atlantic in a record breaking time.

But 27 days after they set off from Morocco they had to abandon the challenge:

The men then spent more around 14 hours on a life raft that they recovered from the boat.

They managed to signal for help and then had to just wait for their rescue:

Even though they didn't mange to complete the challenge they have managed to raise over £3300 for Have A Heart.
