Two Teens Assaulted At Petrol Station

Police in Bedford are appealing for witnesses to come forward after two teenagers were assaulted on Thursday, May 26th.

The incident happened inside the BP filling station in Newnham Avenue in Bedford at approximately 4.30am when two groups of men were involved in an altercation, spilling out onto the forecourt.

One of the victims received a head injury and the second victim an injury to his hand. Both men were taken to Bedford Hospital for treatment and later released.

DC Ian Johnson, investigating has been telling Heart: “I am keen to speak to anyone who remembers seeing two groups of black, mixed race and white men in their late teens running towards the garage from Polhill Avenue between 4am and 4.30am or anyone who was in the garage at the time."
