More than 250 families will benefit if another children's cancer centre's set up in the Thames Valley.
At the moment those affected in Berkshire are having to travel over an hour to places in Oxfordshire and Hampshire - but a charity's hoping to change that.
Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service was set up in memory of Fiona's 8 year old son.
As a charity they have raised over £770,000 in raised funds, and are now providing a service throughout East Berkshire with the Alexander’s Nurse, and will be providing a service in West Berkshire in partnership with the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading in the not too distant future.
