Family pay tribute after pensioner death

83-year-old Leslie Frewen had been missing for more than two months when his body was found in woodland.

He was last seen leaving his home in Bracknell on 15th August and was eventually discovered near his home last week.

He leaves behind a widow, Jean, two daughters and four grandchildren.

Leslie's family have given Heart this statement:

"The family of Leslie Frewen are pleased to say that Les has now been found. His passing was very quick and he is now at peace. We thank everyone for their kind thoughts and prayers at this sad time.

"We would also like to thank Thames Valley Police for their continued efforts and support, and also the search teams and all others who looked for him.

"He is sadly missed by all his family and friends.

"Leslie's funeral will be held at Easthampstead Crematorium on Friday 26 November at 10.30am. Anyone who wishes to attend will be very welcome. You can send flowers if you wish, or make a donation to St Dunstan's charity."
