Jailed: 3 million pound drugs smuggle

A Thames Valley man's been sentenced for smuggling 3 MILLION pounds worth of drugs into Britain.

30 year old Sean David Taylor from Buckingham Drive in Reading will serve three and a half years in prison.

He was arrested by Thames Valley Police’s Serious and Organised Crime Unit (SOCU) in connection with drug importation.

On Friday 10 September, officers from UK Border Agency (UKBA) seized a consignment of class C drugs at Felixstowe. The consignment consisted of 180 kilograms of Ketamine. The street value of the drugs is thought to be around £3 million.

He was charged with one count of conspiring to fraudulently evade a prohibition on the importation of a class C drug, Ketamine.
