Most Wanted

Police want to speak to a woman who conned her way into stealing jewellery in Aldershot and a man who targetted an elderly woman in Basingstoke.

Criminal: Unknown woman, Aldershot:
Wanted for: Burglary in Aldershot on June 4th 2009
The Crime: She went to the victim's home dressed in a blue nurse uniform and pretended she had broken down nearby. She was invited into the house where she waited for several minutes. The victim later realised jewellery had been stolen.
Description: White, aged 30 - 40, 5ft 7 ins, mid-length blonde hair.

Criminal: Unknown man, Basingstoke
Wanted for: Distraction Burglary in Preston Candover on September 16th 2009.
The Crime: He called at the home of an elderly woman and pretended to be checking a water leak. As he was speaking to the victim, a second man went into her back garden and let the pet dog escape. When the victim came back after collecting her dog she found the man carrying £600 in cash. He said she had been burgled and they were taking the cash to the police. The money was being saved for a new gravestone.
Description: White, about 5ft 6ins tall and in his 20s. Clean shaven and quietly spoken.
