Not long left for primary applications

There's not long left to get your applications in if your child is starting school this September.

Children are due to start school in September 2011 if they were born between 1 September 2006 and 31 August 2007 and so have their fourth birthday before 1 September 2011.

If you've not yet submitted your form, Heart's saved you the last-minute panic by finding all the deadlines and websites you'll need no matter where you live in the Thames Valley:

Wokingham

 The deadline for applications in Wokingham is Friday 14 January.

Hampshire

Parents have until midnight on Saturday 15 January to get their applications in.

Apply online and get loads of useful information

Those who do not have internet access can visit their local primary school and they will help you apply or call 0845 603 5623 for an application form together with an admissions brochure and a directory of Hampshire schools.

Buckinghamshire

If you live in Buckinghamshire and your child either:
- was born between 01.09.2006 and 31.08.2007 OR
- is in Year 2 at an infant school

You need to apply by 15 January 2011.

You can apply online by midnight on 15 January 2011, or for Year 2 pupils you can return a paper application form to your child’s current school by 9am on 14 January. 

Alternatively paper forms can be returned to the Admissions & Transport Team by 5pm on 14 January.

If you live outside of Buckinghamshire, please apply to your home local authority (including any Buckinghamshire school preferences).

Bracknell

You can apply online until 15 January.

However if you wish to complete an application form you should collect a pack from School Admissions at Easthampstead House.

Oxfordshire parents have a few more days to make their choices. The deadline for applications is 17 January - 5.00pm for paper copies and 11.59pm for online applications.
