The family and friends of the teenage couple killed in a car crash in the Thames Valley last week have paid tribute to him.

17 year old Tom Blunden died alongside his girlfriend, 17 year old Alex Kurzyniec, when their silver fiesta came off the southbound carriageway on the A404, Marlow bypass on Tuesday night.

Hazel Grayston was Alex's best friend. She gave Heart the following tribute:

"Alex was a true individual and that's why everyone loved her. She was never scared to speak her mind and she was so kind, funny and loving to everyone she met. I just wish she could see how many people truly care about her and I wish she could be here to make me smile again. I'm so lucky to have been her best friend for seven years and I'm so glad she was creative enough to write a collection of incredible poems which her father and I will treasure forever. I know that Tom will take good care of her in heaven."

Tribute to Thomas Blunden from his Mum, Nan and siblings:

"Words cannot express how we feel. We have realised today how much he was loved. Hundreds of tributes have come to us from all over the country. It makes me so proud to have had him as my son.

Tom was lucky to have just started a computer course at Zenos and was really enjoying it. He would come home each day and say how well he had done by getting top marks in his tasks. I am very grateful to them for giving Tom the chance to do what he really wanted and enjoyed doing. We are taking one day at a time and it gives us great comfort to know everyone is thinking of us."

Rennie Blunden, the father of Thomas Blunden, who died in a collision in Marlow on Tuesday 29th March, has released the following tribute to him:

"Tom was a much loved son and brother with a large circle of friends. Full of life, a caring nature and a huge heart, he was always in demand to repair something for friends and family. He will be sorely missed by all that knew him."

On Tuesday night at 8pm, a blue Mercedes 500 and a silver Ford Fiesta were travelling southbound on the A404, Marlow bypass, when the Ford Fiesta left the carriageway and went down an embankment.

The driver of a blue Mercedes 500, a 60 year old man, has been arrested and bailed on suspicion of causing death by careless driving.
