Bristol: Bus Sex Assault

Police investigating an alleged sexual assault of a female bus passenger have released an image of a man they would like to speak to about what happened.

Police say the incident took place around 4pm on Sunday, January 18th on the number 75 bus, as it travelled from Withywood to the city centre, and that one of two female passengers was sexually assaulted. 

Officers describe the suspect as ''Asian, with a bald head and facial hair.'' 

They say he was wearing a black puffa jacket, blue trousers and black, grey and red trainers.

It is believed the suspect got off the bus at Nelson Street, opposite The Lanes.

Anyone who was on the bus at the time is asked to contact police on 101, quoting crime reference number 6238/15 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where information can be left anonymously.
