Detectives investigating the death of a man in the Easton area of Bristol have charged a man with his murder.
Hasan Hagi, who was 40, was found in a flat off Perry Street just before 1:45pm on Sunday 11th November.
A post mortem examination found that he had died of blunt impact injuries.
37-year-old Mahamud Osman, who is from Easton, has been charged with his murder and is due to appear at Bristol Magistrates Court today.
Detective Inspector Neil Rice from the Major Crime Investigation Team (MCIT) is leading the investigation. He said: “This appears to have been a self-contained incident within a flat, involving two men who knew one another. We are supporting Mr Hagi’s family at this sad time as they deal with their loss. I would like to thank the witnesses who have helped with our enquiries, and the wider community for their support and patience as we continue to carry out our investigations. If anyone has any information they believe could help I’d ask them to get in touch, quoting reference 5218251178.”
