A 16-year-old boy has been charged by police after a man was robbed of his cash in the centre of Bristol in the middle of the day.

Officers were called to Castle Park just after midday yesterday, Tuesday 28th August.
 
They found a teenage boy and a bag containing a machete with a 12.5 inch blade.
 
A 16-year-old has been charged with robbery and possession of a knife or bladed weapon in a public place.
 
He is due to appear at Bristol Magistrates Court today.
