Three killed in Somerset crash

Three people have died and one is in a critical condition in hospital after a collision in Somerset.
It happened at around 12.12am on Sunday on the A358 near Ashill.
A man and woman in their 70s, travelling in a black Citroen C3, were sadly pronounced dead at the scene, along with a man in his 20's, who was a passenger in a yellow Vauxhall Tigra.
The driver of the Tigra was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital by ambulance and later transferred to Southmead Hospital where he remains in a critical condition. Immediate next of kin have been informed
The road was closed until shortly after 7am while specialist collision investigators examined the scene.
