A man from Street has been arrested in connection with a suspected stabbing which took place in Glastonbury on Sunday (22 March) at 8.30am.
Police were called to Benedict Street where a man had received an injury which needed stitches. He was treated at Yeovil District Hospital and allowed home the same day.
On Monday, officers arrested a 28-year-old on suspicion of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. He was also arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class B controlled substance with intent to supply, and was bailed whilst enquiries continue.
