Make Some Noise for MusicSpace
We're proud to be supporting MusicSpace in the West Country.
It goes without saying, that we love music here at Global’s Make Some Noise. We’re delighted to be working with MusicSpace – a charity providing music therapy for children and young people with a wide range of disabilities and additional health needs in Bristol.
The charity works with around 1,200 children and young people a year, helping them develop their communication skills and encouraging self-expression through music.
Young people like 15-year old Adam* who was left severely debilitated and frustrated after he suffered from a stroke.
Adam was a trumpeter in his school orchestra, but following his stroke, became incredibly frustrated that he wasn’t able to play the instrument any more. That’s where MusicSpace stepped in; and through providing specialist instruments and support, has helped Adam to make music again. In fact, he was even videoed playing ‘Happy Birthday’ for his brother’s upcoming party.
Thanks to your support, we’ll be funding the charity’s ‘Make Some Noise at MusicSpace’ project, which will enable even more youngsters to access the service. Here, they’ll receive the support they need to work towards achieving their maximum potential.
