Cambridge Christmas Lights Switch On

Heart's proud to be launching the countdown to Christmas in Cambridge on Sunday 17th November.

There'll be great music and entertainment all day across the city centre at Grand Arcade, The Grafton, Lion Yard and Market Square.

The city centre lights will be switched on by Bucks Fizz star Cheryl Baker plus you'll be able to see our Cambridge Has Talent winners performing live. Cheryl Baker is also joining us to switch on the lights in Grand Arcade!

When?

The entertainment begins at 11am, with the first set of Christmas lights being switched on in The Grafton at 12pm.

Grand Arcade and Lion Yard will be lit up at 4pm and the big switch on will reach its finale in Market Square at 5pm.

Cambridge Has Talent

Our Cambridge Has Talent winners will be appearing on all four stages throughout the day. In partnership with Cambridge News, we were on the search for bands, groups and singers to perform and you can find out more about the winners on the Cambridge News website here.

The Big Switch On is run in partnership with Cambridge BID, Cambridge City Council, the Cambridge News, Grand Arcade, The Grafton and Lion Yard and is sponsored by Elms BMW and MINI Cambridge.
