Saturday 1st until Sunday 2nd, Newmarket Christmas Market. For the first time ever, the Love Newmarket BID is hosting a town-wide Christmas Market. Shoppers will be able to find festive and quirky stalls along the High Street, Guineas Shopping Centre, Crown Walk and Sun Lane. Independent traders from around the country will be offering foodies a spectacular range of artisan food and drinks to try and buy, including Cambridgeshire’s finest Pink Gin, Pinksters. For those looking for unusual gifts, there will be a range of tempting stalls, including Newmarket’s very own The Makers Shelf, Kitchen & Things and Busy Bee of Newmarket. Find out more here.

Saturday 1st December, THE St NICHOLAS FAIR at Crowland Abbey. 10am until 3pm. Enjoy live music from a recorder group, a soloist, an organist and a small band while shopping for unique craft items, suitable as gifts from the many different stalls. There will be hot soup with rolls, other savoury items and of course tea and cake to buy and enjoy in the Abbey Pantry. There will also be Mulled wine and mince pies. Saturday 8th December, 1940's Charity Dance at St Peter's School Main Hall, Huntingdon. 7pm until 11.30pm. Help raise money for Marie Curie charity and enjoy a night of live music with The Galaxy Big Band. 1940s dress is encouraged Doors open at 7pm for a free warm up dance lesson. Bring your own drinks.
