Sunday 7th April 'Fens of Fury' Festival Site, Lode Fen, Lode, Cambridgeshire, CB25 9HE 9am - 6pm.It is a 7K adventure run raising money for Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust (ACT) and the dementia and delirium ward. We are hoping to have around 500 people there on the day, both running and spectating.
Sunday 7th April "The Rotary Club of Bourne "Run In The Woods" in Bourne Woods a 10k senior and 3k junior in Beautiful Woodland. The money raised will be donated to local and Rotary charities. it is an accurate 10k and should be weather proof. Friday 12th April Quiz night held at The Elm Tree‹Dogsthorpe, Peterborough 7pm for 7.30pm start. Entrance : £3 a person aged 10 years and over. In teams of NO more than 6 people. We started raising funds for CF in 2001 and since then we have raised £18540.67
Saturday 13th April Spinning indoor cycling simulating terrain at Newmarket Leisure Centre 12 Hours, 50 Bikes & Cyclists, 180+ miles (equivalent of cycling from Royal Windsor to Newmarket via four other racecourses). Raising funds for St Nicholas Hospice. This Charity provides assistance to people with terminal and life shortening illnesses.
Friday 19th April White House Arts is launching 'Magic of The Ordinary' - a Charity Art Exhibition to be held in aid of SOS Children and Rowan. We are calling for all artists, and aspiring artists, to purchase a canvas for £10 and get creating. All completed canvases will be sold anonymously for £45 at the exhibition in November.

Fish & Chip Supper served at 6.00pm with entertainment afterwards from the Rockin' Gold Stars playing their “danceable but edgy” brand of rock. Saturday 20th April We dreamed a dream! Ely Cinema and Ely Cathedral have joined forces for a one-off fundraising screening of Les Miserables (12A) under the stunning setting of the Cathedral’s Octagon. The event planned for Saturday 20 April will feature pre-event entertainment from Witchford Voices followed by the award-winning film. Tickets cost £12 / £11 (cinema members).
