The English Defence League who say they are against what they call the 'Islamification of Britain' are planning a protest in Cambridge.
The protest will be on the 23rd of February with the Cambridge branch of Unite Against Fascism believed to be planning a counter protest on the same day.
Cambridgeshire Police has told Heart it fully supports people's right to peaceful protest, as well as ensuring ''minimal disruption to the people of Cambridge."
It's the second time there has been an EDL protest and counter protest in Cambridge, in July 2011 seven men were arrested during similar protests.
More than 650 officers from six forces including Cambridgeshire, Warwickshire, Essex, MOD, City of London, Suffolk and Leicestershire, policed the demonstrations.
The day started with a counter-protest by Unite Against Facism and the Trade Union Council, followed by The English Defence League's march.
