A man from Waterbeach has been remanded in custody after appearing in court in connection with a fire at Cambridge County Court.
62 year-old Clive Burke from Denny End Road is accused of causing the fire on Monday.
After the building was evacuated, Burke was spotted at Cambridge Railway Station, where a controlled explosion was carried out on his car.
Burke is charged with arson with intent to endanger life, assault, and two counts of possessing an offensive weapon.
He is due at Cambridge Crown Court on the 23rd of June.
