£910,000 is being spent repairing roads in Huntingdonshire and Fenland.

Cambridgeshire County Council says the work will last five weeks, and is likely to cause delays across the two areas.

Local diversions will be set up.

The work will include dressing road surfaces with bitumen and chippings.

It will begin on the 22nd July.

Similar work will be carried out across Cambridge, East Cambridgeshire and South Cambridgeshire over the next few weeks.

This work is expected to cost £960,000, and will begin on the 17th June.

County Council Cabinet Member for Highways and Community Infrastructure, Councillor Mac McGuire, said: "This extensive programme of work is part of the County Council's commitment to repair and maintain the highways network in the best possible condition within the resources available to us."
