Protesters have sprayed graffiti on the outer walls of the office of Health Secretary and South Cambridgeshire MP Andrew Lansley.

Parts of the building in Hardwick, near Cambridge, have also been covered in red and black paint.

Part of the graffiti reads "Hands off our NHS Tory s**m"

It's on the day protesters gathered in London to protest at the government's NHS reforms.

Police are investigating the criminal damage.

A spokeswoman for Lansley said: "When we came in to work this morning we found the front of the building had been covered with black and red paint.

We think the attack must have happened overnight and we don't have any idea who is responsible.

At this stage we don't know the cost of the damage.

The police have been informed and we cannot comment further while their investigation is being carried out."
