Sexual Assault On Cambridge Common

Police are investigating reports of a sexual assault on green space in Cambridge.

It's believed to have happened on Stourbridge Common between 9:45pm and 11:15pm on Saturday night, when a woman says she was sexually assaulted by two men.

The attackers are described as white, around 24 years old and wearing jogging bottoms.

One of the men is described as wearing a dark hooded top with a Nike tick.

Detective Sergeant Neil Hewson from Cambridgeshire Police said: "We are in the early stages of the investigation and are working with the victim to establish further information about this incident.

I would like to hear from anyone who was in the area late on Saturday and may have information which could assist the investigation.

This is being treated as an isolated incident and at this stage not being linked to any other crimes."
