Soham: Man Arrested After Crash Kills Local Man

Officers were called to the scene at around 10.20pm after a report that approximately 5-6 horses were loose on the A14 at Sproughton, near Ipswich, and four vehicles had been involved in a collision with the horses.

A man was taken to Ipswich Hospital with life threatening injuries and sadly died on Christmas day. 

The man has been named as Thomas Allen, a 23 year-old of Soham.

A 26 year-old Ipswich man arrested on suspicion of causing danger to road users, has been bailed pending further enquiries and will return to the Martlesham Police Investigation Centre on 28 February 2013.
