Cambridgeshire Police have released a CCTV image of a man officers want to speak to after an armed robbery in St Neots.
Officers were called to Goldstraws in High Street at around 10am today (Tuesday) after a man walked into the shop and threatened a staff member with a knife.
The employee managed to run and hold close the door of the shop, with the help of a member of the public.
The man smashed a window and eventually the employee and member of the public released the door.
He then fled in the direction of Waitrose with a Cartier watch worth several thousand pounds.
DC Derek Cornhill said: "I would urge anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV [pictured - above right] or who has information about the robbery to get in touch.
Any information, no matter how small, could prove vital in tracing the man responsible."
Anyone with information is asked contact DC Cornhill on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
