An investigation is underway after a 20 year old woman was grabbed in St Neots.
At about 1.30pm on Sunday (23rd September) the woman was walking along a footpath through Love's Farm estate, which runs alongside Fox Brook towards Cambridge Road. A man grabbed her from behind but ran off after a short struggle. The woman suffered minor injuries.
The man is described as white, in his 30s, around 5'9'' to 6' tall, stocky and was wearing a black thick knitted-style hooded top.
Detective Sergeant Jim Donington said: "We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anyone matching the description.
"It is unclear what the motive may have been, however the incident has left the victim very shaken."
Anyone with any information should call DS Donington on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
