Two Killed In Stretham Crashes

Two drivers have been killed in separate crashes on roads in a Cambridgeshire village in under 24 hours.

On Tuesday, a blue Peugeot 203 and silver Ford Modeo were involved in a crash on the A1123 Newmarket Road, close to the junction with the A10, at around 5:35pm.

The driver of the Peugeot, 55 year old David Alexander Adams, from Orchard Way in Cowbit, Lincolnshire, was killed in the crash.

The driver of the Ford, a 33 year old man from the Ely area, was injured.

Then, yesterday, a Ford Ka skidded off the A10 two miles south of the road's junction with the A1123.

The driver of the car was killed in the crash, and has been named by Cambridgeshire Police as 51 year old Richard John Bowles, from St Martins Walk in Ely.
