A 17 year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was stabbed to death in Cambridge.

Emergency services were called yesterday to reports a man in his 40s had been seriously injured on Stourbridge Common, near Ditton Walk, at around 4.15pm on Wednesday.

He was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge but died of his injuries.

The teenager was arrested just after 3am on Thursday and remains in custody at Parkside Police Station.

DCI Mike Branston, who is investigating, said the death was being treated as an isolated incident.
