Two young children have been left with serious injuries after the car they were in crashed with a lorry.
The white Ford Kuga was in collision with the lorry on the A14 westbound at Milton at about 7.40am this morning (Tuesday).
Three children were in the back of the car; a seven-year-old girl, a five-year-old boy and a two-year-old girl.
Both the five-year-old and two-year-old suffered serious but not life threatening injuries and were taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital where they remain.
The seven-year-old was uninjured while the driver and front seat passenger, a man and a woman both in their late 20s, suffered minor injuries.
Anyone who saw the incident happen or either of the vehicles in the moments leading up to the collision should contact PC Ashley Bennett in the roads policing unit on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
