Cyclist Critical After Peterborough Crash

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision which has left a cyclist in a critical condition in hospital.

The crash, which involved the cycle, being ridden by a 46-year-old woman and a car, a red Peugeot 308cc, happened at Norman Cross, near Peterborough, at about 8.45pm yesterday (July 23).
It happened on the roundabout at the top of the slip road from the northbound carriageway.
The cyclist suffered life threatening injuries and is currently in a critical condition in Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.
Anyone who saw the collision or either vehicle involved just prior should contact PC James Thorne, at the road policing unit, on 101.
