Driver flees A47 crash as woman and child hurt

A woman and a child have been hurt after a three vehicle crash on the A47 Wisbech bypass.

Emergency services were called at 1250pm to Elm.

The East of England Ambulance service say they treated a woman and a child at the scene before taking the pair to Peterborough City Hospital for further treatment.

Police say the driver of a third vehicle involved had fled the scene; leaving his car at the crash site.
