Man Arrested After Woman Dies In A14 Smash

Cambridgeshire Police have confirmed a 55-year-old man has been arrested after the death of a woman on the A14 near Girton.
Two HGVs and a car collided just after 5pm, near Junction 31 on the westbound side.
The woman was a passenger in the Peugeot E7. Another passenger suffered minor injuries.
A driver of one of the vehicles, from Clacton-on-Sea in Essex, was taken to Addenbrookes Hospital with serious injuries.
He was later arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, and remains in police custody.
Cambridgeshire's Road Policing Unit is now asking anyone who saw yje collision to call them on 101, quoting incident 319 of 4 January.
