A man's been struck with a screwdriver and had cleaning fluid sprayed in his face by burglars in broad daylight in Swavesey.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the break-in, which happened between 12.30pm and 1.30pm on Friday (April 17) in Boxworth Road.
The three intruders drove up to the property in a black BMW, believed to be on cloned registration plates, before smashing the glass on a rear kitchen door to get in.
They searched through the house and stole jewellery and watches worth several thousand pounds. The men left the house after realising there was someone in an upstairs bedroom.
On the way out they were challenged by a neighbour, who was struck with the screwdriver and sprayed in the face. He was not injured.
The men then made off in the BMW towards Over.
They were described as being white, 20 to 30, one wearing a hooded top and another with a short-sleeved blue shirt and one had an Irish accent.
Detective Sergeant Mike Barnshaw said: "This was a brazen raid carried out in the middle of the day, which had clearly been planned.
"I would urge anyone who was in the area and maybe saw the BMW before or after the crime to get in touch. Any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, could be very important to this investigation."
Anyone with information should contact Det Sgt Barnshaw on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
