Witnesses sought after man stabbed in Peterborough

Cambridgeshire Police were called to an incident at the Bretton Centre, at about 10.30pm on Saturday night (February 28).

Following an altercation between three people outside the Fayrespot pub a man was stabbed and seriously hurt.

Two people then ran in the direction of Sainsbury’s, where an altercation with a group of people occurred.

The injured man, who is in his 30s and from Peterborough, remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.

We believe this to be an isolated incident.
