After this morning's announcement by South Cambridgeshire MP Heidi Allen that she'll run for the new role of Mayor of Cambridgeshire & Peterborough - she's been defending herself on Twitter.
The surprise announcement by Heidi Allen comes just 18 months after she won her seat as the MP in South Cambridgeshire.
She's now putting herself forward to be the Conservative Party's candidate for Mayor of Cambridgeshire & Peterborough in 2017 - but wants to remain as an MP as well - until at least 2020.
Questions about exactly HOW she could juggle both roles have been put to her on Twitter - she's said that Government ministers have a dual role and she sees this new role as like a 'Minister for Cambridgeshire'.
