Two trains have been involved in a minor crash at Cambridge station this morning.
A passenger's taken to Twitter to say 'everyone went flying' and they've been left with 'bumps and bruises'...
@kevintayloruk: Wow @GNRailUK. We stopped by hitting another train at Cambridge. Everyone went flying. What happened there?!?
@kevintayloruk: @GNRailUK mostly. Lots of bumps and bruises. Station staff assisting. 09:14 KGX-CBG hit the train it would couple to at CBG platform 7
Train company Great northern say two trains were meant to couple at the station - but did so too quickly..
A spokesperson for the company says, "Shortly after 10am this morning one of our Great Northern services was involved in a low-speed incident in platform 7 of Cambridge station.
"This was the 09.14 King's Cross to Cambridge service, a four-carriage Class 365 train, which couples with another four-carriage unit in the platform to form a 10.30 return service to King's Cross. The two units came into contact.
"A full investigation will be carried out."
