House Fire in Peterborough

One person's suffered minor injuries after a house fire in Peterborough this lunchtime.

Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue say just before midday on Tuesday 11th September one crew from Dogsthorpe, a crew from Stanground and another support fire engine were called to a house fire on Bishops Road in Fengate.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in a detached house. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their stations by 1.30pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
