Plans for a new holiday resort in South Cambridgeshire have been refused.
Officials at South Cambridgeshire District Council were handed this planning application:
1) For access off the A1301 only at this stage - for a proposed recreation development of 50 holiday lodges, indoor tennis complex, four outdoor tennis courts, fitness centre, bowling green, brasserie and public open space with footpath and cycleway at Sand and Gravel Quarry on the A1301 Sawston Bypass.
The Applicant was Russell Smith Farms, farmers based in Duxford.
The meeting of South Cambridge District Council's Planning Committee was held yesterday (Wednesday 14 January).
