Van Rammed And Robbed Near Peterborough

Thieves wearing balaclavas have forced a van to stop near Peterborough before ramming it and stealing cash from the back.

It happened at the Haddon Services on the A1 on Tuesday evening, at around 7:40pm.

The thieves smashed the van driver's window and the victims tried to drive away but ended up abandoning their vehicle.

The masked group then got into the back of the van and stolen various bags including money.

PC Kellymarie Harman said: "This incident took place at a busy service station on the A1. I would urge anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen something to get in touch."
