Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden 6:30am - 10am
This year's Clacton Carnival procession took place on Saturday 14th August.
The procession had a circus theme which meant there was plenty of scope for clowning about.
Leading the procession was Clacton Carnival Queen Jenine Davey and princesses Teala Johnson and Rebecca Sewell.
The procession included 32 floats, 11 visiting queens, three marching bands and six majorette groups - as well as the Heart Angel crew!
The winner of the theme category in the float competition was the Clacton Queen, a steamroller with a ringmaster for a driver towing a cage of animals and a human cannonball.
The procession collection raised more than 4,000 for Clacton Maternity Unit and the local St John Ambulance branch.
The parade this year followed a new route along the seafront from West Road car park to Victoria Road.
Despite overcast weather, thousands of people turned out to see the procession. Carnival week continues in Clacton with a firework display on Thursday night.
