Police are appealing for help to find a number of men they wish to speak to after a young man was attacked in Colchester.

CCTV stills have been released in the hope someone may be able to help detectives trace the men who are believed to have been in the area of Sir Isaacs Walk around the time of the assault.

It happened just before 2am on Saturday, August 13.

Police think around five or six men may have been involved but have so far made no arrests.

The 22-year-old victim from Tiptree suffered a fractured skull which continues to affect his life now, three months after the assault.

Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives at Colchester CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
